NEWTON COUNTY, Mo. - A car crash in Newton County leads to serious injuries for a Fredonia, Kansas man. The crash happened at approximately 6:23 Sunday night on Missouri 43 at Kapok Drive, one mile north of Seneca. A 2001 Dodge Ram driven by Joann Baker experienced a vehicle defect while attempting to make a turn and was struck by a 2013 Hyundai Sonata driven by 39-year old Jess Seiwert of Fredonia, Kansas. Seiwert was transported to mercy hospital with serious injuries.JASPER COUNTY, Mo. - Another Sunday night crash.
