The Joplin Area Bee Keepers Association will hold the 4-States Beekeeping Conference on Saturday, Nov. 4. Sessions will be held from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Missouri Southern State University. There will be information provided for beginning and experienced beekeepers. Topics will include beginning beekeeping, first-year beekeeping, the future of beekeeping, overwintering, pest management and sustainable beekeeping. The conference fee is $60.
