JOPLIN, Mo. — He's a young man who wears many hats — and Tuesday night, he added another one. Rylee Hartwell was elected as the new Joplin School Board President. He's currently serving a 3-year term on the board. At 26-years old, he's also now the youngest board president ever for the Joplin School District. 'You know, I think the big takeaway whenever you're in this position is that really you're an individual who is working with everybody, so more of a we versus me mentality. So, for me it's really just continuing the work that we're doing, and making sure that we support our administration in Joplin Schools, that we support our teachers our staff and our kids,' said Hartwell.
