A 24-year-old Joplin man was injured in a motorcycle crash at 5 p.m. Monday on Old Highway 71, a mile south of Saginaw in Newton County, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol. Connor R. Parker was taken by ambulance to Freeman Hospital West in Joplin with moderate injuries. Parker was operating a northbound motorcycle that overturned when he attempted to correct a swerve, the patrol said.
