News Items Global food manufacturer General Mills plans to expand its frozen dough plant in Joplin, Missouri . The $48 million project is expected to create 47 jobs. The investment will increase the company's manufacturing and packaging capacity, allowing it to produce more than 1 billion pounds of frozen dough products each year. Construction is scheduled for completion in early 2024. 'At General Mills, we're accelerating our business and investing to support continued growth in frozen dough,' said Tim Johnson, Plant Manager at the General Mills Joplin plant.
